dollhouse
One-of-a-kind, handmade dollhouse crafted from wood, clay, fabric, wire, paper, hot glue, paint, buttons, tiny jars, moss, dried flowers, thorns, rocks, dirt, mouse bones, and a human tooth, illuminated with battery-powered string lights. The eight rooms—tea room, child’s bedroom, spell room, skeleton closet, twig throne, kitchen, bathroom, and hell room—invite viewers into miniature worlds both familiar and uncanny.
As a child, I made dollhouses from shoeboxes and even created tiny rooms inside Altoids tins for my mini Polly Pockets. This project revisits that spirit of imaginative play, incorporating my current fascination with clay, wire, and fabric to explore texture, scale, and dimensional storytelling.
